Welcome to YCECT
Thank you for taking the time to learn about the York County Emergency Communications Team (YCECT).
YCECT is a volunteer organization that supports the York County Emergency Management Agency by providing emergency communications when normal communication systems are unavailable, overloaded, or damaged. Our members include amateur radio operators, GMRS operators, and community volunteers who share a desire to serve others during times of need.
Whether you are newly licensed, highly experienced, or simply interested in learning more, there is a place for you on our team. We emphasize training, mentoring, teamwork, and preparedness so that we are ready when our communities need us most.
